Lizzo’s 13.5M followers were thrilled with the creative posts, with Orlando’s partner Katy Perry tagging him and writing that Lizzo was ‘comin fer yer jerb.’

Lizzo finalized her look with a pounamu necklace that was gifted to her during her Auckland show.

In another clip shared in her second post the entertainer can be seen walking down a dirt road on the film set, and then pausing to look at the Hobbit homes.

‘House hunting,’ she captioned the post.

Another snap saw Lizzo posing in the vibrant outfit outside one of the homes.

She also took a pH๏τo with her partner Myke Wright, who joined her on the trip.

And while Lizzo got immersed into her character, Wright sported a more understated black hoodie and khakis.

The Lord of the Rings films were directed by Peter Jackson and starred Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, Viggo Mortensen, Billy Boyd, Sean Bean, and Liv Tyler among many others.

The trilogy has won 17 Oscars. The Fellowship of the Ring also won a Grammy for best score soundtrack album in 2001.

Singer Sam Smith wrote in the comments, ‘I AM SCREAMING.’

‘One Lizzo to rule them all,’ another added in reference to a line from the film, while someone else said, ‘This might be the most iconic thing I’ve ever seen.’

It wasn’t the first time the star impressed her followers with her flute skills.

In September of last year she made history after The Library of Congress let her borrow a 200-year-old crystal flute during her concert in Washington, DC.

Lizzo was thrilled to be the first ever person to play the musical instrument, originally owend by James Madison, even exclaiming during her show: ‘B****, I just twerked and played James Madison’s flute from the 1800s!’

She also shared a clip of the special moment to her Instagram, with the caption: ‘YALL.. THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS LET ME PLAY THEIR HISTORIC 200 YEAR OLD CRYSTAL FLUTE ON STAGE TONIGHT.’

‘NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE… NOW YOU DO,’ the classically trained flautist added.

Lizzo’s only New Zealand show took place at the Spark Arena on July 26.

She previously performed in Australia where she embraced the local culture and participated in a fun tradition during one of her shows.

The star was thrown a gift on stage, which included a toy koala and a small bottle of alcohol.

With chants from the crowd encouraging Lizzo to try a ‘shoey’ she relented, taking off her boot and placing the tequila inside.

‘My shoe? My shoe is disgusting. I can’t drink out of my f**king shoe, what’s wrong with ya’ll?’ he told the group.

But being a good sport, Lizzo took a sH๏τ of the liquor from inside her shoe.

‘Australia, how are you guys still walking if that’s how you take sH๏τs?’ she said afterwards.

The shoey is one of Australia’s iconic traditions that doubles up as both a hazing punishment or celebratory ritual. It is the practice of pouring alcohol into a sweaty shoe then sculling it.

In the past, the tradition has come under attack as critics – including prominent Australian musicians – call for it to be banned.
