Although Hield is a few inches shorter than Thompson and isn’t quite as good defensively as Thompson once was, he is still a respectable 3-point shooter who connected on 38.6% of his shots from beyond the arc in the previous campaign.
Golden State wants to at least make it back to the playoffs after missing them the previous season.
